How we handle your data.

What we collect
When you're granted access and sign in, we store your email address, the display name you give us, your lesson progress, and basic usage activity (which lessons you've started or completed, which tools and prompts you've used). We do not collect passwords — sign-in works via a one-time emailed link, so there's no password to store or leak in the first place.
Why we collect it
Solely to run the platform: to know who you are when you sign in, to show you where you left off, to track completion for your own progress view, and to understand which lessons are working well so we can improve the roadmap. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored in a secured database with access controls that ensure only you (and DecodeSkills administrators, for support and operational purposes) can read your own records — enforced at the database level, not just in the app.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, or delete your account entirely, at any time from your Account page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, progress, and activity history, and revokes your access — this can't be undone.
